90% fiction. 10% confession.

I wanted this to become a more poetic and personal performance piece, including moments shaped by late-night emotional states (sometimes from being drunk at a bar). The work combines audiovisual performance with live typing and telling story on one stage.

I spent a lot of time treating the interface itself as part of the performance, so gesture, writing, and control are all visible as performative actions.

The piece is inspired by Chia Amisola's internet ambient practice and Kohui's Composition for Objective Sound series. Word-eating mechanics are inspired by morakana's Paramecium Diner.

How are digital tools shaped by cultural memory, local histories, and ways of listening? What relationships emerge between experimental media practices and the cultural contexts they are developed from?

This evening brings together artists from Canada, Peru/Switzerland, Thailand, and Indonesia through live coding, audiovisual performance, and generative systems. Across different practices and backgrounds, the program explores how code, sound, and image become sites for experimentation, translation, and cultural expression.
