Neonatus/Neotokyo
Neonatus/Neotokyo is a portrayal of death and birth with the newborn conscious at the beginning of the world — similar to the binary code "0 1" in the computer that shapes its command.
The rebirth of Tokyohot restaurant at Charoenkrung43 was simulated by an AI created to be a newborn conscious virgin from every memory and knowledge, and let it study the presence of Kanom Tokyo.
We use GAN (Generative Adversarial Network) that was used for face recognition — but in this project, it was taught to remember and create Kanom Tokyo. This project also explored how newborn consciousness perceives death and birth, as well as the struggle of the restaurant itself as the business of artists who struggle to make a living.
